The word sexy when used as a compliment can also be mistaken for a wrong attention or attraction when said to. As once said; "Anything taken out of context can become a pretext to say what we want."

About Me

My Story

Born, February 3, 1973, as Bridget D. Haywood. God fearing, proud mother of four boys and one granddaughter. As women we tend to pour everything into our families. Beginning at childhood, then we become wives, mothers, we are siblings and friends giving to everyone while losing ourselves in the shuffle. I was same as the average woman. I smiled through pain, tears, exhaustion, not knowing exactly how to make it all happen. But strength from within surfaced and I rose from the ashes like a "Phoenix" strong and powerful.

Over the years providing for my family and others, held various successful positions, still feeling empty inside. Women always think it is their husbands, children, friends or others responsibility to make them happy, but that's far from the truth. Happiness is defined as; "the state of being happy" and that rely within "you". It's our responsibility for our own happiness, not others. It has taken 50 years to realize putting myself first is not selfish, but necessary. It is time to step out and fulfil my dreams and focus on happiness for myself.

Currently, I still work in the corporate world. I've come to understand life is too short to live working tirelessly for someone else and at the end of the day dreading the next. I wanted to start my own business to dedicate the same loyalty, trust, hard-work and commitment given throughout the years to other businesses to myself.

I birth "Desirable Madam by Bridget" because at age 50 years young, I'm reintroduced to Bridget D. Haywood, still God fearing, proud mother of four boys and one granddaughter. But now, I see myself as: I AM Sophisticated, I AM Wise, I AM Strong, I AM Powerful, I AM DESIRABLE MADAM!
